About SOS

Dear Colleagues in Ministry,

One reason I began Snow Organizational Systems was a revelation I had while doing pastoral ministry and hearing stories from colleagues about their challenges. In many of the stories dealing with wearying conflict, having clearer and better systems in place would have prevented the conflicts from ever occurring! The problem is that creating these systems do not usually fall under a staff job description. At a small church with little to no staff support, the work is left to the pastors and often there is so much pressing work that systems get pushed to the bottom of the pastoral ministry to-do list. As I continue in ministry, I see that most consulting or continuing education does not focus on getting healthy systems in place but rather focus on innovative ideas to help grow the church.

I formed Snow Organizational Systems because I believe getting good systems in place creates a healthy environment that breeds vitality, creativity, and innovation. I also believe that you can (and should) create systems that self-perpetuate with laity ownership.

Because I am passionate about this work, I have created an assessment and provide resources that can help you in your leadership and in engaging system work in your congregation. If you would like more help in creating and fine tuning your systems, I provide coaching and consulting to help you get healthy and vital. Snow Organizational Systems would be honored to work with you and help you accomplish your goals! – Jason Snow

What people say about working with Jason…

Jason is a gifted leader and colleague who has come alongside my ministry in a myriad of settings providing thoughtful, creative, and life-giving support. His thinking elevates issues and challenges from "problem" to spaces where mission and vision can be re-ignited. He is a systems expert - skilled at the balcony view and improving processes from the ground up to gain not only stability - but longevity. AND he's fun to be around. His passion, humor, and authentic faith ignite people and teams.

-Rev. Dr. Katie Phillips, Lead Pastor of The Vine Church

When I began my term as leadership board chair, I wasn’t sure what to expect since our church was going through a time of change. Working with Jason quickly put me at ease. He has a wonderful ability to identify a path forward, navigate difficult conversations, and bring people together to work toward a common goal. Our leadership board faced a range of challenges, and we emerged stronger in large part because of Jason’s leadership.
